Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security feature that can add a significant layer of protection for your login credentials to secure data on your Buffalo NAS against cyberthreats such as hackers and ransomware.

Credential theft has been on the rise in recent years, and refinement in social engineering and brute-forcing techniques by threat actors means a strong login password alone is no longer an acceptable security barrier.
