This procedure creates a Private cloud, allowing you to secure & share data.
1. Create a share on TeraStation for use of Veeam backup.
2. From Veeam Backup Infrastructure tab, select Backup Repositories, then click Add Repository at the upper left. Name the Backup Repository and click Next.
3. As type of the Backup Repository, select “Shared Folder” 4. Enter the TeraStation share path that you want to backup to. Or click Browse to select from the list.
5. Enter the credentials for the TeraStation share. Check the checkbox then click Add.
6. Configure Load control as needed.
7. Specify the mount server if different with the Backup server.
8. Click Apply to continue.
9. Now the TeraStation share has been added to the backup repository. Click finish.
10. Switch to the Inventory tab at the left, select the Virtual Infrastructure, then select the Virtual Machine you want to backup.
11. Right click and select Add to Backup job, then New job.
12. Name the backup job and click next.
13. Confirm the virtual machine in the backup job list and click next.
14. Make sure to select the TeraStation Backup repository that we just added. For other advanced job settings please refer to Veeam user manual.
15. Setup the schedule of the backup job.
16. Confirm the backup job settings and click Finish.
17. Veeam Backup job to TeraStation has been configured successfully.
